October 19, 2022

The Saints have been no stranger to injuries this season. Now on a short week, the team will head to Arizona short-handed once again.

Injury Report For Saints Vs. Cardinals

Saints Designated “OUT”

New Orleans is going to have some familiar faces on the OUT list again this week. Michael Thomas, Marshon Lattimore, and Jarvis Landry will be missing consecutive weeks.

Adam Trautman and Andrus Peat are the newest members of the injury report for Week seven.

Saints Designated As “Questionable”

Andy Dalton and Paulson Adebo are some notable players listed as questionable. The Red Rifle should be able to play, but if injuries are a factor in Dalton’s performance on Thursday, the Swiss Army Knife Taysom Hill to play Quarterback, Running Back, and Tight end, and probably handle anything else he is told to do if needed.

As bad as Adebo has been in the past few weeks, the New Orleans secondary cannot afford another injury.

Signs Of Hope For Saints Fans

Fans can rejoice as their stud rookie, Chris Olave has been taken off the injury report and is set to play in tomorrow’s game. One of the few consistent bright sports of the Saints offense is coming back after a concussion and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

The Cardinals are at no shortage of injuries themselves, so this is an even matchup going into tomorrow night.

New Orleans (2-4) heads to Arizona to take on the Cardinals (2-4) for a Thursday Night matchup. Both teams are in desperate need of a win to keep their seasons alive.

In the top-to-bottom struggling NFC South, a win here could be crucial in closing the gap for the division lead with the Bucs (3-3) and Falcons (3-3).
